| Diagnostic Tools for use with Specific Manufacturers / Vehicles We have a selection of vehicle specific diagnostic tools - from OEM type tooling to more general purpose tooling. UCM Land Rover Diagnostic Platform The new UCM Land Rover is designed for use on the very latest Land Rover vehicles including Discovery 3, Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and recent additions, Freelander 2 and the New Defender. The tool consists of a UCM (Universal Communication Module), UCM to USB lead, UCM to vehicle harness and Land Rover diagnostic software. The diagnostic platform will benefit from frequent updates to upgrade and extend application coverage to the tool. The software can be added to existing Omitec diagnostics equipment, including the T4 or be used stand alone added to the garages’ own PC or laptop. Land Rover and MG Rover Professional Kits The OmiPro Land Rover ‘Professional’ diagnostic tool was developed in conjunction with the vehicle manufacturer. It is the only tool available that delivers the same performance levels as in Land Rover dealers worldwide. Designed in conjunction with MG Rover, the Omitec MG Rover ‘Professional’ tool is based around the latest laptop PC technology, which is the heart of the T4 platform, and is therefore the most suited and effective solution to MG Rover vehicle diagnostics.
